MARTY FRIEDMAN, DAVID 'ROCK' FEINSTEIN Interviewed On 'Shockwaves' Podcast

Shockwaves/HardRadio Podcast #49 — in which host Bob Nalbandian conducts separate interviews with former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman and David "Rock" Feinstein, a former member of RONNIE DIO & THE PROPHETS, THE ELECTRIC ELVES, ELF, and the leader of the legendary New York band THE RODS — is available for download at this location (M4A file, 32 MB).

"Bad D.N.A.", the new video from Marty Friedman, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Visual Trap, which has helmed all of the videos for DIR EN GREY. The song is the title track of Friedman's tenth solo album, which was released in Japan on August 25, 2010 via Avex. The CD was produced by Marty and engineered by Steve Hardy and Shinnosuke Miyazawa (LADY GAGA, GUNS N' ROSES) this April/May at The Village in Los Angeles, California.

According to a posting on Friedman's web site, "Bad D.N.A." is "a natural progression, picking up where 'Loudspeaker' and 'Tokyo Jukebox' left off and adding its own twists and turns."

"Bitten By The Beast", the new solo album from David "Rock" Feinstein, was released on November 23 via the Niji Entertainment Group. The CD features what turned out to be one of the last-ever recorded vocals by Ronnie James Dio (Feinstein's cousin),on the headbanging anthem "Metal Will Never Die".
